Insider Confirms Updates Imminent in August for GTA VI – Confirmed Launch
The development of Grand Theft Auto VI proceeds smoothly, with an ever greater wait on the part of fans. Rockstar Games is preparing new information about the game, following the latest trailer released in May 2025 and publishing some screenshots. The well-known insider NateTheHate anticipated that August will be the crucial month for the arrival of "new products" on GTA VI, although the exact form of these updates is not yet clear. NateTheHate recommends caution, stressing that it is still premature for precise details and denying any possible postponement of the date of release: “No, GTA VI will arrive in November as expected.” The focus is on August, with the next Take-Two Interactive financial conference and the Gamescom event (26-30 August) which could represent an opportunity for the release of a new trailer during the Opening Night Live or any previews dedicated to the press. Rockstar maintains an extremely controlled approach to communication, avoiding leaks of information as happened in the past. Analyst estimates indicate that the preorder campaign started at the end of June is proceeding well, generating approximately $ 260 million in the first week. If the pace remains constant, GTA VI may exceed 51 million copies sold on the first weekend. The game will be available from November 19 exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
