Take-Two removes leaked videos: confirms the authenticity of the leaks on GTA VI?

Take-Two Interactive has started a series of DMCA requests to remove GTA 6 gameplay footage from websites and social platforms that are leaked online. The action, taken yesterday, seems to confirm, at least indirectly, the authenticity of the diffused material. The leaks related to the game, emerged in the past hours, had already aroused great attention. The person who declares himself responsible for the leak of news motivated the publication of the films claiming that GTA 6 would be distributed exclusively in digital format. Take-Two Interactive would have intensified interventions to remove gameplay videos from the network, strengthening the hypothesis of an authentic leak. Despite this, some observers noted a general quality of films apparently not aligned with the expectations of a title that is ready to go out in November 2026. The most plausible interpretation is that the videos date back to 2023, and therefore do not reflect the current state of the development of the game. To finally see more recent GTA 6 sequences, the wait will last a week: a new gameplay will be shown during the special Netflix scheduled on August 27, 2026. It remains to be understood what will be the next moves on the front of the leaks of news. The alleged manager stated that he intended to publish more materials from different developers and publishers. It is not yet clear whether the content is all linked to a single event or whether it is simply declarations aimed at exploiting the attention generated by the last leaks. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos continue to be the focus of attention for their latest recordings, although they are not directly related to the current leak story.
