Rockstar points on nostalgia with GTA VI: Editions and pre-order bonus Vintage Vice City

Grand Theft Auto VI is coming with two editions and a pre-order bonus package focused on the city of Vice City. The price difference between the Standard and the Ultimate Edition, amounting to $20, may seem excessive, but the list of exclusive content related to the surcharge deserves attention. Rockstar offers two options: the Standard Edition at $80 and the Ultimate Edition at $100. There are no intermediate tiers or deluxe bundles, nor early access, regardless of the chosen edition. A Collector’s Edition has not yet been confirmed. Both editions include full base game and pre-order bonus Vintage Vice City Pack, available until 19 November. The package includes: the outfit retro for the male protagonist Jason Duval, the dress coordinated for the female protagonist Lucia Caminos, the Vapid Stanier '55 (a classic car with a faithful look at the time of Vice City) and a cosmetic skin for weapons. These bonuses are available for both Standard and Ultimate Edition, so pre-order the basic game is enough to get them. The pre-order deadline is fixed on 19 November: after this date the Vintage Vice City Pack will be permanently lost, regardless of the purchased edition. The GTA 6 Ultimate Edition from $100 adds a series of exclusive content to the Standard Edition, including five vehicles, four weapon variants, numerous cosmetic packages, five stores (Rideout Customs, Sara’s Unisex Salon, Stock 305, Electric Fang Tattoo and One-Eyed Willie’s) a dedicated garage and a unique secondary mission. The answer to the question whether the Ultimate Edition is worth the $20 extra depends on the level of interest for cosmetics and completeism: the main narrative experience is identical in both editions.
