Salerno: Volpe returns to drive the prosecution after Primicerio's farewell

The magistrate Rosa Volpe assumed the post of Attorney General at the Court of Appeal of Salerno, succeeding Leonida Primicerio, who retired in retirement. The appointment, approved by a vote unanimously of the Csm plenum, marks a first for the city: for the first time, a woman plays this role. After years in Naples, where he has refined his investigative skills and managed several important investigations, Volpe returned to Salerno with this ambite position. Her professional career has seen her coordinate teams of magistrates in complex contexts, such as the Vassallo murder investigation in Vallo della Lucania, where she shed light on crucial details thanks to an investigation that brought her to South America to question the only investigator. His experience also includes the Claps case, the student who died in 2010 in Potenza, and the investigation of the "golden abortions", an investigation that led to the dismantling of a network of unscrupulous doctors. At the same time, Volpe helped resolve conflicts between local organized crime, such as the wars between the Stars and the boys of Via Irno, and the illicit activities related to racket and snare. Together with his colleague Luigi D’Alessio, he played a key role in collecting evidence that led to the arrest and extradition of Danilo Restivo for the murder of the student.
