Rockstar points to a more contained GTA 6, abandons the massacred shifts

Remember all the noises that for months, if not even years, have you read and heard about the now legendary Grand Theft Auto 6? They could all be completely wrong. Jason Schreier, a prominent sign of Kotaku and always well informed about what is happening in the industry, today published what is his information about the much-loved development of GTA 6, on which fans have fanned for years. The mighty GTA V, still among the best-selling video games, is now a step away from making 7 years of life, and never before the fans of the series had long awaited a new game. A game that has already been discussed so much, especially in recent months following the launch of Red Dead Redemption II. Huge map, Vice City as the main setting, 70’s and 80’s, more protagonists, lots of noise. Apparently, however, the arrival of GTA 6 is not close at all. According to Schreier, in fact, the development of the game is still in the early stages. Rockstar Games would in fact have decided to start in recent years a new phase for its own company, which can be summed up in greater confidence towards its employees and much less pressure, saying goodbye to the massacred shifts that were also testified on GTA V and Red Dead Redemption II. Among the new projects of the American company, there is the new chapter of the Grand Theft Auto series, which also would have the size of a smaller project than the previous game. The intent of Rockstar Games is to shape a GTA 6 more content than the fifth chapter, and that the game will evolve over time. A kind of Game As A Service, as happened with GTA Online: the idea would be to feed players a preliminary version of GTA 6 with a smaller setting than the Los Santos of GTA 5, and with less activity, but just as it happened with GTA Online, it will expand over time welcoming many more content. In short, a report that goes in sharp contradiction with what has been said by the previous noises that have occurred in recent months. The development of Grand Theft Auto 6, apparently, is still in the early stages, and at this point, if the good Schreier saw us right – rarely this does not happen – see the game before the late 2022 or even 2023 will be very difficult. With good peace of all those who can’t wait to return to the criminist world of the series.
