The countdown for the sixth chapter of the Grand Theft Auto saga intensifies. Rockstar Games announced a long preview dedicated to the game, destined to the release on November 19, that will air live world on Netflix from 21 Italian on August 27. After months of waiting and two announcement trailers, fans will finally see something more than the future open-world title. The event, called “Extended Look”, promises an in-depth view of the game, with the possibility that new information on gameplay, ambientation and game mechanics will be revealed during the live. It is expected a great interest in potential first real gameplay, capable of maximizing the hardware of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, following the model of GTA 5 in 2013. The new chapter will report the series in the imaginary Miami version of the Rockstar universe, that is Vice City, already protagonist of a historical title of the saga. However, unlike the past, the city will only be a part of a much larger world: the actions will take place in the state of Leonida (a Florida reinterpretation). At the heart of the story there will be Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a couple of criminals inspired by the duo Bonnie & Clyde. Their story, focused on a blow that degenerates into a conspiracy within the Leonida, promises a narrative full of twists. Rockstar anticipated the presence of a complex artificial intelligence will manage numerous secondary characters: smugglers, bikers, nightlife figures, influencers and all the elements that will help create a satirical world on American society, as Rockstar is usually doing. On August 27, numerous questions will be clarified: number of primary and secondary missions, size and explorancy of the map, interactivity of the gameplay with the environment, the operation of the driving and combat systems, and the date of release of the online component. All the answers could come from the Authentic Look live on Netflix.
