The release of Grand Theft Auto VI continues to generate a stir, and the latest revelations concern an agreement between Rockstar Games and Netflix intended to raise the production costs of the game. The new reveal gameplay, called "Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look", will be available exclusively on the streaming platform for a limited time span – about six hours – before being made accessible to the general public. According to indiscretions reported by the insider Tom Henderson, the agreement between the two companies could have reached a record figure of 100 million dollars, or even exceed it. This evaluation is based on the strategic importance that the gameplay has for GTA VI, a title considered one of the most anticipated of 2026. Henderson estimates that the agreement has already generated an equivalent value to that of more than one million copies sold, considering an indicative price of about 80 dollars per copy. Take-Two Interactive, developer and publisher of GTA VI, would hardly have accepted such an agreement for a modest figure, given the huge commercial potential of the game. Rockstar Games officially announced the collaboration, previewing that the gameplay will be available on Netflix on August 27, 2026, later also through the official channels of the manufacturer. The temporary exclusivity window emphasizes the importance attached to the title and global interest it arouses. A tip to save on the preorder of GTA VI: by purchasing discounted PlayStation Store or Xbox Gift Cards on Instant Gaming, you can use the credit you get to complete the purchase of the console on the desired store.
