PlayStation Silently inserts GTA 6 into a Half Speculations List on Ritardo

Sony Interactive Entertainment added Grand Theft Auto VI to its official list of the most anticipated games for PlayStation 5 this year, since, of course, the biggest game of generation, the same game that took weeks to be sold as exclusive before, is in a list of more anticipated titles. Exception, that's why we're raising this argument now because, only a few months ago, it wasn't there. In January, that same PlayStation page turned without the next Grand Theft Auto. The most anticipated game on the planet, absent from the list of games previewed of Sony, while the smaller third-party titles did their part, is a worrying omission that was partly why many people did not really believe the scheduled exit date of November 19 until recently. Now, where leaving it out of the same list meant misfortune, putting it on means that it is the way Sony is saying that he trusts that the release date will remain firm, especially because the voices of another potential delay become stronger and stronger after months of silence. With that said, this is an evolving page that Sony updates when you want and games are added and deleted as the release windows consolidate. The fact that GTA 6 is entered is not an announcement, a promise or an escape. This is the editing of a post by team marketing. It doesn't mean much in the great perspective, but it's nothing bad either. Sony is betting huge sums of money on this game, from stock planning to marketing. A company does not prominently present a game on its showcase if it has internal reasons to think that it is coming out of its promised release date. At best, the update is a slight reassurance, a small sign that people with financial interest in this launch expect accounting to end in November. It is interesting to note that a former Rockstar animator, Mike York, recently said that "it would not be at all surprised" if the game delayed again, suggesting that if it arrives November and the last mission is not yet correct, Rockstar could move it by another six months. On the one hand we have a former developer who fluctuates another delay in the same interview in which he said that GTA 6 is almost complete, and on the other there is Sony who silently inserts the game in his list of 2026. These two things point in opposite directions, but none of them has the same weight as Take-Two Interactive that repeatedly confirms the date of release of November 19, more recently in their guide on profits, a much more serious engagement than a blog marketing post. Preorders are and have been available since last June, with retailers and console manufacturers who are redesigning their supply plans and the entire release line for the second half of the year around GTA 6. Nintendo is the only great video game company bold enough to face GTA 6 directly and is just because it is trying to satisfy two different markets. Could you still delay GTA 6? Technically yes, any game can, and Rockstar has already delayed this title twice. Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto V both saw their delayed release date even after preorders were released, with retailers and console manufacturers redesigning the entire launch line for the second half of the year around GTA 6.
