Milan, 8 September 2026 – With the expectation ahead of the game, a question emerges strongly among fans: the level of realism foreseen for GTA 6 risks compromising fun? Rockstar seems willing to push the saga to unpublished territories, proposing not only a more vast and spectacular Vice City, but an environment where the daily choices of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos will have tangible consequences. Immersive details and constraints: gasoline, sleep and exercise will directly affect the gameplay. Car supply will take about ten seconds, an element that has already generated discussions in the community – immersive detail or annoying loom? Feeding, training and rest will affect the physical characteristics of the protagonists, changing appearance and performance. A more sober arsenal: weapons will no longer be easily accessible. In the new chapter, Jason and Lucia will have to manage more limited equipment and long weapons will be visible, affecting the behavior of the NPCs. Rob Nelson of Rockstar justified this choice, explaining that the arsenal supply system in GTA 5 would no longer be credible in such a detailed world and with much more sophisticated virtual characters. Realism vs. fun: Rockstar's main challenge seems to be to balance immersion and game. GTA has asserted itself immediately, offering players the opportunity to turn the city into a limitless criminal playground. The introduction of elements such as fuel management, sleep and equipment aims to make Vice City more alive, but the risk is that excessive realism can compromise the fun, transforming the game into an experience too complex and bound. The launch date is set for November 19th.
