GTA VI: Gameplay Exclusive with Uragani, Fauna Ricca and Six Unique Regions - Unveiled Game Informer Details

A few weeks after the launch of GTA VI, Rockstar continues to release details about its open world, thanks to an extensive 14-page cover story published by Game Informer. The article, based on interviews with several lead designers and accompanied by 12 exclusive images, focuses mainly on Leonida, the state inspired by Florida that will host Vice City and other exploratable areas. The level of detail I promise is impressive: Rockstar worked deep on weather, fauna and ecosystems. The new game includes a dynamic weather system with real moving clouds and different conditions according to the map area, being able to meet sun, storms, flying rain or even rainbows. But, being GTA VI, more extreme phenomena are also foreseen: tropical storms and hurricanes. The frequency and impact on missions and gameplay still remain to be clarified, but Rockstar has not expressed the will to anticipate this aspect. Over 170 animal species populate Leonida, offering an exploration experience never seen in a Rockstar game. It can be found in alligators, flamingos, lamantini and pelicans, but also in invasive species such as green iguanas, rhesus rods and macachi. Rockstar has also implemented improvements in the furs, feathers and other visual characteristics of animals, with some traceable species such as Rare, Discoverable and Legendary, suggesting an important role for the exploration of fauna as well as simple environmental furnishings. The play area includes six large separate areas: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National – each with unique settings and specific features.
