The GTA VI download on PlayStation 5 will be 210 GB, as revealed by a PlayStation Store backend analysis carried out by PlayStation Game Size and reported by Eurogamer. A considerable size that could prompt many players to upgrade their hardware. Currently, a standard PS5 model (825GB) will have about 667GB of space available for games, making GTA VI almost a third of total storage. The pre-loading of the game will begin on November 12, a week before the official release scheduled for November 19. At the moment, the size of the game on Xbox Series X|S has not been confirmed by Rockstar and Microsoft, but estimates indicate that the S Series (512GB) will use more than half the available space, while the X Series (1TB) will have about 802 GB free. For those who want to install GTA VI on PS5, it is essential to consider the possibility of a possible day-one patch, which could further increase the size of the game. In case of space exhaustion, each PS5 allows the addition of a 250GB to 8TB SSD M.2 (PCIe Gen4 NVMe with cooling system) to ensure smoothness in the gaming experience. As for Xbox, we are waiting for official confirmations on the size of the game. The pre-loading date is fixed on 12 November and the official release of the title is on 19 November both on PS5 and on Xbox Series X|S.
