Preordini GTA VI: The Ultimate Edition dominates the market – Strauss Zelnick's statements

Two months after the announcement of the price, new details emerge on the performance of the preorders for Grand Theft Auto VI. Take-Two Interactive had set the standard edition at €79.99 and at €99.99 the Ultimate Edition, offering a wide range of bonuses and additional content. The first buyers seem to prefer the premium edition. During CNBC's Squawk Pod podcast, Take-Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick, confirmed that most of the reservations focus on the Ultimate Edition, despite the price of 20 euros compared to the basic version. According to analyst estimates, GTA 6 has already generated over $ 260 million through pre-orders. Zelnick did not issue official figures on the total number of preorders, but stressed the ability of Take-Two to maintain the high price, as demonstrated by Grand Theft Auto V. The Ultimate Edition offers exclusive content to encourage purchase: among them, stands the 1967 Vapid Dominator Buggy, an off-road vehicle, and the Watson Bay Paradise Garage, equipped with a weapon cabinet and a smuggling space. Numerous other vehicles, activities, weapons and customization options are also available. Take-Two said that the final decision on Christmas promotions is for individual retailers.
