Grand Theft Auto VI: RockStar Nega Budget from 1.5 billion – Expectation Records

The release of Grand Theft Auto VI, scheduled for 19 November 2026, represents an unprecedented event in the video and entertainment scene, with estimates of millions of copies sold in its first year. The game, set in a realistic version of Miami and South Florida, will see players interpret Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, two bold robbers involved in an intricate plot of crimes and dangers. The concept of "open world" offered by GTA VI allows players to explore a vast map, immersing themselves in a dense city of criminal activities and opportunities. From the main missions – bold and unpredictable charges – to the freedom of exploration, the game promises an unparalleled experience. It will be possible to engage in popular sports such as basketball and fishing, or to devote yourself to training in the gym. An element already seen in GTA V, but that will be expanded significantly. The Grand Theft Auto series, born in 1997 and developed by Rockstar Games – based in Edinburgh, Scotland – marked the history of gaming, becoming one of the most influential and successful franchises ever. The new chapter, whose development began around 2018, promises to exceed the expectations of fans, thanks to the breadth of its lyric mechanics and the quality of its realization. The wait for Grand Theft Auto VI is such that the exclusive projection of the gameplay offered by Netflix recorded over 30 million views in a few hours, conquering the primacy as more popular content in 87 countries. As Washington Post points out, “Grand Theft Auto VI is the biggest pop event this year’s media, if not the decade.” La portata di Grand Theft Auto VI, con la sua mappa vasta e la promessa di libertà ludica, combinata con l’attesa massiccia – testimoniata dalle visualizzazioni su Netflix – è indubbiamente impressionante. L'ampiezza delle meccaniche, l'attenzione ai dettagli come gli interni ed il menu di pausa satellitare suggeriscono un titolo ambizioso e potenzialmente rivoluzionario per la saga. Tuttavia, la semplice menzione di elementi già visti in GTA V (“Un elemento già visto in GTA V, ma che verrà ampliato in maniera significativa”) e l’enorme budget stimato (1.5 miliardi) sollevano interrogativi sulla reale innovazione del gioco al di là della mera espansione dell'ambiente. La proiezione su Netflix, pur straordinaria in termini di numeri, non rappresenta una valutazione critica del gameplay stesso. Resta da vedere se la relazione tra Jason Duval e Lucia Caminos, legata a “crimini e pericoli” e svelata da intersezioni con Leonida (citato anche in LOVE Magazine), si rivelerà un elemento narrativo complesso e coinvolgente o semplicemente uno strumento per aumentare il valore di marketing del titolo.
