GTA VI: Monumental Map of Leonida – Vice City Completely Reconstructed and Ampliate

Grand Theft Auto 6 will take place in Leonida, a state divided into six distinct regions, with a fully reconstructed and significantly expanded Vice City. Rockstar aims at greater density, more numerous interiors and details treated in each environment, raising the gaming experience at new levels. In addition to Vice City, the map will include the areas of Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. Grassrivers will be a vast humid area inspired by the Everglades, characterized by rich biodiversity and populated by local communities described as hostile and armed. Port Gellhorn will represent the most degraded areas of the state, with dilapidated motels, abandoned shopping centers and tourist attractions in ruins. Ambrosia will be the heart of Leonida, dominated by factories, refineries and a powerful gang of motorcyclists. Mount Kalaga National Park will host wildlife, becoming the area where the player will encounter the most dangerous creatures. According to the senior vice president of the story Rockstar, Rupert Humphries, the goal is to offer an authentic and engaging experience, allowing the player to explore and learn about the different regions, cultures and atmospheres of Leonida, highlighting the contrasts between rich and poor and placing crime and corruption as central elements of the plot. Aaron Garbut, head of development and co-studio, pointed out the attention to detail, with a number of internal environments increased to make buildings more realistic both inside and outside. The game map will be the largest ever made by the Rockstar studio, exceeding the size of previous productions in this area.
