Rockstar Games will broadcast an extensive trailer of gameplay for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) on Netflix on August 27, 2026 at 21:00 Italian time. The announcement, coming through various social channels including Zazoom Social News and Reddit, reveals that the event, called “An Extended Look”, will be a presentation dedicated to the game that will make its debut on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series XS. Rockstar signed an exclusive time agreement with Netflix for streaming video transmission, which will then be distributed on the company’s official channels, including YouTube and Facebook. The presentation will offer an in-depth look at the new chapter of the series, characterized by the return to Vice City, Leonida and Port Gellhorn, as well as from settings such as Grassrivers, Mount Kalaga and Ambrosia. The trailer is expected to show the main protagonists: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, along with other characters such as Raul Bautista, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Brian Heder and Cal Hampton. Inevitably, the announcement rekindled the attention around GTA 6, with discussions on forums such as x.com and playstationbit.com regarding the possible content of the trailer and its duration. Non mi stupirei se la durata dell’anteprima estesa fosse di circa 60 minuti, come inizialmente annunciato. La decisione di Netflix di ospitare l'evento è un chiaro segnale della portata che Rockstar sta cercando di dare a questo gioco. Il fatto che si parli di “extended look” e non solo “trailer” suggerisce una presentazione più corposa, che probabilmente supererà i soliti 15-20 minuti tipici dei trailer cinematografici. Considerando l’impegno di Rockstar nel dettaglio e la complessità delle ambientazioni che hanno promesso – Vice City, Leonida, Port Gellhorn, Grassrivers, Mount Kalaga e Ambrosia – una presentazione così lunga è assolutamente giustificata. Sarà interessante vedere se il video esplorerà anche le dinamiche tra i diversi team operativi descritti nei primi annunci: sembra che Raul Bautista sia legato a delle attività nel traffico di droga ad Ambrosia, mentre Dre’Quan Priest e Real Dimez potrebbero avere un ruolo significativo nelle operazioni clandestine a Grassrivers. Non è escluso che l'anteprima possa affrontare la questione della collaborazione tra i diversi personaggi, visto che si parla del ritorno di figure come Brian Heder – forse legato al mondo dell'industria edile all’interno delle ambientazioni urbane.
