Summary: The Vapid Caracara 4x4 is a four-door pick-up truck added to Grand Theft Auto Online and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. The car was first added as part of The Diamond Casino & Resort update, being available for purchase with the release of the update on July 23rd, 2019. The Caracara 4x4's presence in Grand Theft Auto VI was first spotted in the game's first trailer, where an orange model can be seen mud-crawling in the background at Thrillbilly Mud Club (0:55). The Caracara 4x4 can then be seen multiple times in the second trailer and accompanying screenshots on the GTA VI Website, most notably as the vehicle of choice for Brian Heder. The Caracara 4x4 draws heavy inspiration from the second-generation Ford F-150 Raptor (P552). The grille is specifically based on the Lariat trim models of the 2015–2018 Ford F-150, but with only a single bar in the middle, which mirrors the Shelby F-150. The front bumper appears to be influenced by the VWerks Predator Package for the F-150. The positioning of the exhausts resembles that of the first-generation Raptor, while the shape of the Caracara 4x4's headlights is reminiscent of the facelifted twelfth generation Ford F-Series, but with the same size and placement as the 2014–2021 Toyota Tundra. Additionally, the recess above the hood, housing the LEDs, bears a resemblance to the vent above the Tundra's grille. The tail lights bear a resemblance to those found on the second-generation Nissan Titan. The hood design takes inspiration from the Ram Pickup models and the Ram Rebel TRX concept. Grand Theft Auto Online The Black Double Stripe and White Vapid Double Stripe liveries are likely references to those of the Shelby F-150. The Rear Vapid Angle Stripes livery pays a similar homage to the back stripes seen on the SVT Raptor. The Red Painted Scratches livery seems to be based on the Roush Custom SVT Raptor. The Painted US Flag livery may be based on the West Coast Customs The Patriot F-150. Grand Theft Auto Online The front Commercial Bumper and rear Primary Rollpan Bumper are most likely modeled after the stock bumpers found on the F-150. The Dual Long Rounded Exhausts and Vapid Large Grated Grille bear resemblance to those features seen on the 2017–2020 Ford Raptor. The Caracara 4x4 is essentially a shorter, four-wheel-drive, and unarmed version of the Caracara, where many of its features were retained from the 6x6 version, including the vented hood and the light strips over the grill
