Port Gellhorn is the gritty coastal city anchoring Kelly County, with its own dedicated police force. Cheap motels, shuttered attractions, and a rough new economy built on liqueur and painkillers define the city.
Already appeared in a previous chapter of the series (GTA V): The city appears to be a vast coastal area on the western side of Leonida, with a wide variety of commercial and industrial infrastructure interspersed with dense forests, open bold fields, and rolling hills.
Port Gellhorn made a significant appearance in the September 2022 GTA VI leaks, which included multiple clips showing large portions of its commercial and industrial districts, terrain, and a top-down view of the Gellhorn International Raceway. In one particular leaked clip, a debug menu listing world events reveals other unseen points of interest in Port Gellhorn, including a police station, train station, trailer park, soccer field, basketball court, and more.
The city officially debuted in the game's first trailer, showcasing two points of interest previously mentioned in the world events list from the September 2022 leaks: a pawn shop, and a liquor store.
Port Gellhorn reappeared towards the end of the second trailer, offering another glimpse of its landmarks, including the Crossroad Park Minimall and the Bocamar Bridge.
