Static Planes

Static Planes are uncontrollable aircraft appearing in the 3D Universe and HD Universe of the Grand Theft Auto series. In Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, there are multiple parked business jets around Francis International Airport and Escobar International Airport based on the Learjet 35. In Grand Theft Auto Advance, several passenger planes, business jets and monoplanes are found at the Francis International Airport, intended to represent the static normally found at the airport in Grand Theft Auto III. Colombian Cartel leader Cisco owns a business jet at the airport, which is used by Mike to flee Liberty City during Freedom Flies in the final cutscene. In Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, a jet similar to the Learjet 35 appears in the mission Love on the Run. In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, a jet also similar to the one featured in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, but with a conscious greater fuselage and wing span, decorated with blue stripes, appears in multiple missions. It is first seen in the introductory mission, Soldier, as belonging to the dealer Victor Vance meets. It is later seen parked at Escobar International Airport during Snitch Hitch and ends up being escorted out of the airport by Vance while it off in Farewell To Arms. In Grand Theft Auto IV, Ogham jets can be found parked at Francis International Airport, featuring an updated design. One such plane is used by Kenny Petrovic during the multiplayer mission Hangman's NOOSE. In The Ballad of Gay Tony, Ray Bulgarin owns at Ghawar business jet. Additional, the mission Bang is the only occasion where an Ogham is in movement, which the player must destroy before take-off. In Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, an Ogham jet appears in Yu Jian, the first mission of the game, transporting Huang Lee to Liberty City. For the rest of the game, just as in Grand Theft Auto IV, Oghams are static props which can be found parked at Francis International Airport. In Grand Theft Auto V, static planes can be found parked on the tarmac of the Los Santos International Airport. Like the larger Jet, it is seen in multiple liveries, Adios Airlines, Caipira Airways and Air Herler. The plane in the singleplayer mission Bury the Hatchet is clue more detailed, having a fully modeled cabin and higher-resolution textures. It has an exclusive Fly
