WhatUp!

An in-game messaging app the duo use to communicate. Already appeared in a previous chapter of the series (GTA V): WhatUp! is briefly mentioned in the September 2022 GTA VI leaks, where a notification appears on the right-hand side of the screen during a gameplay sequence from an undisclosed mission set in the Jack of Hearts strip club, reading "WhatUp! message received", suggesting that WhatUp! may function as a messaging application within the player's mobile phone. In an official screenshot of Lucia Caminos, a mobile phone placed on a towel next to her appears to have the WhatUp! app selected on its home screen, with its name faintly visible, especially the "W" and the exclamation point. Website In the September 2025 GTA VI leak, one of the revealed domains registered under Take-Two Interactive's nameservers was "what-up.app", which appears to be linked to the WhatUp! application.
