The building has 38 floors and is 117.5 meters heel, making it one of the heel buildings in Miami Beach. The hotel, designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, includes recording studio and a 10,000-square-foot (930 m2) penthouse that includes a rooftop pool and jacuzzi. Already appeared in a previous chapter of the series (GTA V): The Y Vice City first appeared in two clips from the September 2022 GTA VI leaks, showcasing the building's entrance and porta-cochère, with the hotel's name visible on the entrance mat. The building also appears to feature a fully accessible lobby interior, as well as a surface parking lot. Despite being named Y Vice City, the hotel is actually located in the city of Vice Beach. The face of the building is later in the first trailer (0:37), from the rooftop of another nearby hotel building in Washington Beach.
