8F Drafter

The Obey 8F Drafter is a two-door coupe appearing in Grand Theft Auto Online, and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. The 8F Drafter was added as part of The Diamond Casino & Resort update, made available to purchase immediately from the day of the update's release. The rear of a black 8F Drafter can be distantly seen driving down a main thoroughfare in an official screenshot of Ambrosia. The design of the 8F Drafter appears to draw significant inspiration from the 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe. The primary grille and front bumper take cues from the 2015–2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350, while the headlights bear a resemblance to those of the Ford Falcon (FG X). The side profile is reminiscent of the BMW M4 CS (F82), featuring a characteristic line that extends from the rear taillight housing to a side vent. Additionally, the rear exhaust and bumpers closely mirror those of the M4 CS. The taillights are largely influenced by the second-gen RS5 coupe; however, the RS5 coupe does not feature connected taillights, instead drawing some inspiration from the 2014 Audi TT Sportback Concept. The wheels seem to be modeled after the WELD Belmont S113. The engine is based on a generic model that resembles the Mercedes-Benz M113 Kompressor engine, while the interior, referred to internally as "super2" and first introduced with the Specter, appears to be inspired by the Chevrolet Corvette (C7). The "Racing The Edge" livery is a reference to the iconic BMW M3 GTR (E46) from Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Need for Speed: Carbon. The 8F Drafter boasts a sleek, sporty 2-door coupe design enhanced with various aftermarket parts in its original state, including a front splitter and rear diffuser. Drawing inspiration from models like the 9F and Tailgater, it incorporates modern elements, such as fully LED headlights. The back of the car also resembles the Tailgater but with a sporty twist: twin double-exit exhausts are positioned beneath a prominent splitter, and a subtle, upward-swept ducktail-like feature graces the rear boot lid. The car uses a dedicated "Super2" interior, which is largely identical to the one seen in the Dominator GTX (itself being the same interior from the Specter), except for the vented section on the front of the dashboard, under the windscreen.
