Comet S2 Cabrio

The Pfister Comet S2 Cabrio is a two-door cabriolet appearing in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of The Contract update, and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. The car was first added as part of The Contract update, being made available for purchase with the Comet S2 Cabrio Week event on January 6, 2022. The car can be seen in neon blue, parked up behind a Cheetah Classic along Shore Drive in Vice Beach, in the first trailer (0:31). A white Comet S2 Cabrio can then be seen driving through Vice Beach in a screenshot from the Vice City section of the game's promotional website. The Comet S2 Cabrio is largely based on the Porsche 911 Cabriolet (992), the convertible model of the Porsche 992 that the Comet S2 is based on. As with the hardtop model, the Cabro has headlights also resembling the ones found on the Porsche 911 (991.1), while the front fascia elements and side skirts are inspired by the Porsche 718 Cayman GTS, with the additional elements found on the second-generation Porsche Panamera. The tail lights and rear fascia elements might have been inspired by the ones found on the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. The bonnet may be taken from the Gemballa Avalanche GTR 650. The "Red Pfister Track Graphics" livery is based on the Porsche 997.2 GT3RS. The "Stronzo" livery is based on the Martini Racing livery for the Porsche 935, a prominent race car in the 1970s. The "Air Herler" livery is based on its one-off Group 5 variant, the 935/78 'Moby Dick', and by extension, the 2019 Porsche 935, a modern tribute to it. The "Ron Racing" livery is based on the Gulf 997 Porsche. The "Retro Redwood" livery is reminiscent of the Rothmans livery featured on several Porsche race cars in the 1980s, including the Paris-Dakar Rally-winning 959. The "Rock N' Roll Legends" livery is based on the livery from Johnny Silverhand's Porsche 911 Turbo (930) from Cyberpunk 2077. The "Retro Race Bumper" front bumper option is based on the RUF 991 RTR. The vehicle is essentially a convertible variant of the Comet S2, sharing most of the details and features from the former, but uses a soft retractable roof instead of a solid one. When retracted/deployed, a rear cover opens and slides to the rear, and returns to its position when the roof is up/down completely. The interior of the vehicle shares the same dial set and textures as its hard-top counterpart, but adds the Pfister emblem on the horn cap.
