Rockstar had chosen Daft Punk for the Soundtrack of GTA VI: History Unveiled by a Leak

The voices of GTA fans were denied after a leak of information on the original soundtrack of the project. Rockstar Games, known for the attention to detail in his games and for the use of ambitious soundtracks, had plans to entrust the composition to Justice, a French electronic duo. However, according to a leak published on Twitter by HasItLeaked (a leaker with a mixed story), Daft Punk was initially chosen as a music supervisor. The plan included an unlimited budget to allow the duo to realize their "last return", with the aim of creating the final soundtrack for "GTA 6". Fan enthusiasm, expressed on Reddit (“I wish I hadn’t heard this because I want it to happen! I would have loved to see Daft Punk come back”), witnessed the widespread desire. Despite the final affiliation to Justice, the presence of Travis Scott with the song "RHYNO" (produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo) still suggests a trace of influence Daft Punk in the project. It remains to be seen whether this track represents the last echo of the original plan or a simple case. The story highlights Rockstar's commitment to creating the soundtrack and raises questions about the evolution of musical choices for “GTA 6”, but confirms the seriousness of the development team with Justice.
