GTA VI: Updates from Insider on New Details Arrival in August
The development of Grand Theft Auto VI proceeds according to plans. The wait for the new chapter of the saga continues to grow, and Rockstar Games could soon break the silence. After the last trailer released in May 2025 and in the absence of new materials except for some screenshots, fans are looking for each update. According to the insider NateTheHate, August will be the month when Rockstar will share “different information” about the game, although at the moment it is not clear in what form they will come. The leaker however invited to caution, explaining that it is still too early to reveal more precise details. At the same time, he excluded the hypothesis of a new reference: “No. GTA VI will arrive in November as expected." August may also be particularly important for other reasons, considering the next Take-Two Interactive financial conference and the presence of Gamescom, scheduled from 26 to 30 August. A new trailer should not be excluded during the Opening Night Live or any previews dedicated to the press. Rockstar continues to maintain an extremely controlled approach to GTA VI communication, especially after the numerous leaks of information that involved the project in recent years. In the meantime, according to analyst estimates, the campaign of preorders launched at the end of June is proceeding very well, with about 260 million dollars generated in the first week. If the pace remains constant, the game could sell over 51 million copies on the first weekend. Grand Theft Auto VI will be available from 19 November only on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
