Spotify lights up the Speculation with Public Cartels in New York and Los Angeles – What Does the Sound Column of GTA VI Hide?

The advertising campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI, already pre-ordered on Amazon, is taking shape, and Spotify seems to have accelerated the process with a marketing operation that caught web attention. As documented by screenshots spread on Reddit, huge advertising posters depicting iconic images recently shared by artists such as Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen and others were spotted in New York, Los Angeles and Miami. In particular, Travis Scott's famous flip-flop leg image was reproduced on a large scale, with the addition of the Spotify logo and the subsequent spread through social media X (previously Twitter). Spotify and Rockstar Games are not known at the moment. However, these advertising billboards have triggered a wave of online speculation, feeding assumptions on official playlists, new songs for the soundtrack, or a joint promotional campaign. Some Reddit users even dream of direct integration with Spotify within the game, allowing players to listen to their playlists during the adventure. The role that artists like Travis Scott (who defines his teaser as "Fase 1") and the other musicians involved will have in the game is still uncertain, but it is expected that further developments will be communicated shortly. Spotify’s advertising strategy is a key element in waiting for the release of Grand Theft Auto VI on 19 November 2026.
