GTA VI: The Criminal Profile of Jason and Lucia – Two Paths, Two Persons

Grand Theft Auto VI will introduce a new system focused on the definition of the criminal behavior of the protagonists. It is the “Criminal Profile”, a mechanic that goes beyond the simple distinction between good and bad. This system shapes the approach of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos to crime, offering the player the opportunity to interpret two deeply different characters within the same experience. The Criminal Profile is not based on a “Honour” bar as in Red Dead Redemption 2, but rather on a dynamic system that reacts to the player’s actions. The Criminal Profile is divided into four distinct states: Professional, Aggressive, Violent and Psychopathic. 1. Professional:* This profile requires a calculated approach to crime, avoiding excess violence and aiming to complete crimes with efficiency and method. Killing indiscriminately or acting impulsively could remove Jason or Lucia from this state. It is the ideal profile for those who prefer a meticulous criminal strategy. 2. **Aggressive In this state, the behavior of the player assumes a more direct and less controlled character, allowing to face criminal situations with greater force, while avoiding the extreme of psychopathic violence. 3. Violent:* This level is characterized by frequent use of lethal force and extreme behavior, removing the character from the Professional profile and indirectly rewards those who maintain control. 4. Psycopathic:* It represents the extreme of the system, associated with particularly irrational and violent criminal behaviour. The Criminal Profile of GTA VI allows the player to shape the personality of Jason and Lucia according to their own lyric preferences, offering a narrative depth and a highly customizable gaming experience.
