Xbox Series X/S: Pre-load of GTA 6 already installable – But it’s not what it looks like
A curious operation saw the light on Xbox Series X/S: users can already "install" a pre-load of GTA VI, equal to only 300MB, through the app available in the Microsoft Store. This is a sort of placeholder, a preliminary file that occupies space on the console's hard drive and allows you to add the game to your wishlist, just as it happens on PlayStation Store. Photographic reports spread on Twitter/X by RockstarINTEL confirm this functionality, feeding speculations on Rockstar Games' possible difficulty in developing the final stage of the title. Several sources, including some corridor entries, suggest that the story of GTA 6 has been erased and redesigned at least three times, with the final version (the one shown in the trailers) now representing the fourth iteration. The official exit dates remain unchanged: 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with an action genre developed by Rockstar Games and published by Take-Two Interactive. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, the two protagonists of the game, will continue to be the focus of attention, while the development team works to define the latest details of the plot, waiting to confirm the definitive weight of the title in terms of occupied space.
