GTA VI: Record Preorders – Estimated Launch Bill to Overcome the 5 Billion Dollars

According to analysis of Notebookcheck.it and Newzoo, sales of GTA VI are already overcoming the most optimistic scenarios. The estimates indicate that the first week of play could generate a turnover between 3.25 and $5.2 billion, thanks to exceptional preorders. At the end of last month were made available the preorders for GTA VI, and the first analyses show “absurd” numbers, as reported by Insider Gaming. Newzoo estimates that in the United States alone and in the five main European regions 180 million dollars were collected, with a total of approximately 260 million dollars in only three weeks. This represents the best debut ever recorded by society. There are still four months left at the game, and the wait for the third trailer continues. Considering Rockstar's additional marketing efforts, Newzoo anticipates a turnover in the first week after the launch between $3.25 and $5.2 billion, including both the standard edition (80 dollars) and the Ultimate (100 dollars). By comparison, GTA 5 cashed about $1.15 billion in its first week. Preliminary data also indicate a strong interest in the PS6, version with preorders higher than those for Xbox, partly due to the lower marketing activity on this platform. Microsoft denies that proportion. In addition, the absence of physical disks for GTA VI should result in additional gains for Rockstar, given the digital strategy adopted by Sony for the launch of the game that generated controversy.
