One-Eyed Willie in Los Santos Customs: Radical Evolution According to the First Impressions

Vehicle customization has always been one of the most appreciated features of the Grand Theft Auto series. In GTA 5, players spent countless hours in Los Santos Customs, powering engines, changing paint, installing aerodynamic packages, customizing wheels and building the perfect car for every mission or rally. Originally, it was perceived as a revolution. However, based on Rockstar's first official images for GTA 6, One-Eyed Willie seems to bring vehicle customization to a completely new level of realism and immersion. Unlike simply entering a garage and immediately opening a customization menu, the lab itself appears as a living and button location. Mechanics are visible while actively working around vehicles, tools and equipment are scattered for the garage and every corner of the shop is crowded with realistic details that make it a real automotive workshop rather than just a menu screen. According to Rockstar, One-Eyed Willie, located near Lake Leonida, specializes in the modifications for off-road vehicles and manual automotive pictorial art. This already suggests a much deeper customization than the past, with unique visual styles, specialized updates and regional garages that offer different services depending on where you are in the game world. Imagine bringing your dirty off-road van into a workshop designed specifically for lifted suspensions, reinforced bumpers, off-road tyres, custom paint and robust performance updates instead of each workshop offering the same options. These small details could make every visit unique and help each location develop its own personality. If Rockstar has redesigned the entire customization experience instead of simply improving the charts, the vehicle modification could become an activity that players really enjoy instead of simply overcoming it quickly. Of course, we still do not know exactly how deep the customization system is until the game launches, but everything Rockstar has officially shown so far indicates a much more immersive experience than anything seen in GTA 5. What do you think? Would you prefer less garage with a deep customization or many different editing shops to Leonida, each offering exclusive updates, painting styles and specialties? Let us know in the comments!
