GTA 6 PS5: Svelate Game Size - 210GB Required

According to games.gg, the refresh rate in GTA 6 on PS5 remains a discussion point for potential buyers. At the moment, there is no confirmation of the existence of a "performance mode" to 60 FPS at launch. The demonstration gameplay, shot on the base version of the PS5, operated at 30 FPS, with the creative director of the Rockstar who subtly suggested that this remains the standard setting. The main reason lies in hardware limitations. GTA 6 aims to establish new standards in terms of visual detail and a vast open world, characterized by complex NPC systems, advanced physics and simultaneous mechanics. The bottleneck is represented by the load on the CPU, rather than the GPU, and the current consoles do not have the power necessary to double the frequency of the frames without seriously compromising graphics and gameplay. So far two graphical modes had been mentioned: "quality" (30 FPS) and "performances" (60 FPS), but Rockstar has not yet confirmed anything. Consider these speculations until there are official announcements. Update frequency in GTA 6 on PS5: 30 FPS versus 60 FPS Also on the PS5 Pro, 60 FPS seem unlikely. The most realistic case for PS5 Pro owners with 120 Hz screen and VRR support is 40 FPS, based on current forecasts. This represents a significant improvement in image fluidity than the 30 FPS, but it is not the 60 FPS that many players expect. GPU acceleration in the PS5 Pro helps with resolution and graphics quality, but CPU architecture has not changed much compared to the basic version of the PS5. Since the frame rate limit in GTA 6 is determined by the processor's capabilities, the benefits of the "Pro" do not solve the problem directly. The possibility that GTA 6 receives an update to 60 FPS after launch exists, although to a limited extent. When asked directly to Rockstar's creative director if there would be options to reach 60 FPS in the future, he replied that he had to consult his technical team. That doesn't mean "no", but not "yes." The historical experience of GTA V offers an indicator: the 60 FPS update arrived only in the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, years after the original release. Following this logic, a 60 FPS patch for GTA 6 will probably arrive in the future.
