Grand Theft Auto VI will occupy approximately 210 GB on PlayStation 5, according to the PlayStation Game Size Monitoring Site. Rockstar Games has not yet provided official numbers and the size could vary before the planned launch for November 19 2026. These 210 GB only include the basic game. They do not take into account the initial patch, any future DLC, content updates or online multiplayer, the latter developed separately and released later. Rockstar has announced that the online version will be available as a paid and subsequent title. As a result, the space occupied on the hard drive will increase over time. Consul holders with limited capacity SSD (such as standard 825 GB PS5) will have to release space in advance. The standard version for PS5 offers about 667 GB free for games, so 210 GB represent just over a third of the available space. The game will be released on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The developer is Rockstar Games, while the distribution is entrusted to Take-Two Interactive. A PC version has not yet been announced. The pre-order will open on November 12 and will allow players to download the entire game in advance to play immediately on release. The standard edition will cost $79.99 (about 6400 rubles). Due to the large amount of data to download, Insider Gaming provides a significant load on the networks on the day of launch. Before the release, Rockstar has already begun to promote the game with its Leonida coffee line. Curiously, the Hunger Games director expressed concern about the potential impact of GTA 6 on the vision of his new film.
