Screenshot GTA VI: Reflect Ray Tracing and Speculations on Pro PS5 and PC Versions

A new GTA VI screenshot could reveal details about potential versions optimized for PS5 Pro or Rockstar Games PC. The basic PS5 console was used for the creation of previous trailers and Netflix Extended Look, but the image in question highlights the lively nightlife of Vice City, with a sports car running a busy road. The focus is on high-quality graphics effects, such as a great puddle, optimized to show the potential of ray tracing. According to Ben/videotech, the sharpness of ray tracing reflections and the general definition of the image suggests that the screenshot does not represent the direct gameplay of GTA VI on the base PS5. This conclusion was supported by Oliver Mackenzie of Digital Foundry, who, analyzing the previous trailers, highlighted a possible "sacrifice" of graphic quality to adapt to the capabilities of the standard PlayStation console. Some observers speculate that Rockstar used an optimized photo mode in a development build to maximize visual fidelity of the image, or that it is the first screenshot acquired on a PS5 Pro or PC. Despite the expectation for the launch of the PS5 Pro Enhanced version of GTA VI, neither Rockstar nor Sony have yet revealed the specifications of any benefits offered by the hardware. Expectations remain high, with Rob Nelson, co-director of Rockstar North, who had previously meant a 30 frame lens per second on all consoles. It is therefore uncertain whether the new screenshot provides definitive clues on the capabilities of optimized versions or only further speculation foods.
