Extended Look on GTA VI: Vice City Densa and the Report between Jason and Lucia

The GTA VI’s Extended Look, which premiered on Netflix, sparked an exciting, though divided debate among game fans. The presentation, captured entirely on a standard PlayStation 5 – not on PS5 Pro – showed an extraordinarily detailed Vice City and curated animations that confirmed Rockstar Games' ambitions. The video saw Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos involved in shootings, chases and scenes of everyday life, highlighting the relationship between the two protagonists, while letting intuition the return of character change and an open world with greater reactivity to the player's actions. The most striking detail was the maniacal attention to hair and tissue rendering, the realistic weight of vehicles, accident physics and the fluidity of transitions between narrative sequences and action. The dense crowd and the variety of environments, in particular the setting of Leonida, seem to promise a credible experience as never realized by Rockstar before. The attention to detail of Jason and Lucia, anticipated by official images spread earlier, has fed the expectations of the public. Despite the general enthusiasm, not all reactions were positive. Some viewers have expressed preferences for the personality of Lucia Caminos regarding that of Jason Duval, judging the latter with a voice and an interpretation too monotonous. Others considered the dialogues too controlled, although a promotional assembly cannot yet fully assess the rhythm and writing of the complete story. Also from the point of view of the gameplay emerge contrasting opinions. Shooting, driving and shelling system seem to follow a familiar formula, but some fans expected more radical innovations. However, the focus on continuity with the GTA tradition, enriched by mature technical care thanks to Red Dead Redemption 2, is what many hope to find in the final game. Some aspects such as the weapons interface and the feel of a frame rate near 30 fps (which could be affected by streaming compression). More detailed analysis and higher resolution material will be required to accurately assess the performance of the game. The high expectation shown by the exclusive Netflix storm, with buffering problems and disservices during the première, shows the enthusiasm of the public.
