Brevetti Rockstar Revela l'Innovativo Futuro Tecnologico di GTA VI

By GTA6 Hub editorial team

If you are wondering how Rockstar Games intends to push beyond the limits of the videoludic experience with Grand Theft Auto VI, the title that promises to redefine the open world genre, the answer could be in the patents deposited in recent years. Official documents recently highlighted by the online community suggest that GTA 6 will introduce significant technological innovations aimed at revolutionizing gameplay. We talk about hyperrealistic animations thanks to a 3D animation system of unprecedented fluids, urban traffic and NPC managed by an advanced artificial intelligence and environments with amazing graphics fidelity. All will be supported by a loading system that will eliminate interruptions and cutting-edge security measures against incorrect players. The patents in question could revolutionize GTA 6. Among them, one focused on the evolution of animations of non-playing characters (NPC). According to the US10395410B2 patent, NPCs will not only move smoothly, but will do so in a coherent and natural way even during dynamic situations such as chases. This will be made possible by an AI-powered motion capture system, capable of predicting the movements of the human body to the detail of the fingers, creating convincing animations in every context. Another key element is fluid physics, described in the US10685152B2 patent and that promises unpublished interactions: water, sweat, puddle and moisture will behave in a realistic way, reacting to environments and characters. This will increase immersion in a game world where fluid behavior will significantly affect experience. The city traffic will also be revolutionized thanks to the US11684855B2 patent. Rockstar describes a system where each vehicle is controlled by an AI that can make autonomous decisions based on time, zone and traffic conditions, creating an unpredictable and organic urban scenario. From a graphic point of view, GTA 6 will benefit from an advanced rendering system (US12263404B2), designed to return sharp images, better lighting management and smooth performance. An enhanced LOD (US11978162B2) will ensure visual quality even for objects far from the camera, without any detail.
