Leaker Cyberleek cashed $268,000 with the $CYBERLEEK token related to the GTA VI leak
The leaker known as Cyberleek, responsible for the spread of unauthorized material related to Grand Theft Auto VI, would make a considerable profit thanks to speculation on the $CYBERLEEK cryptographic token. According to the data extracted from the blockchain, Cyberleek cashed around $268,000 through the fees generated by the token transactions, which occurred on August 27. The sums were transferred to several wallets and exchange platforms such as KuCoin and CCE.Cash. The activity has been identified by the user Vice Cit of GTAForums, who has monitored the handling of the project since its origins. The transfer coincides with a drastic drop in the value of the $CYBERLEEK token, from approximately $0.034 to less than $0.003, with a loss of more than 80%. Market capitalization has fallen rapidly, from around $23.39 million to just $ 3.2 million. The story raises questions about the actual nature of Cyberleek's initiative, which was initially presented as a form of protest against the disappearance of physical editions of video games and some industrial practices. It seems instead that the primary objective was the speculative gain linked to the expectation of GTA VI. At the same time, the leak publishing activity stopped: Cyberleek had previously released 15 unauthorized videos, containing images of the characters Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, of the territory of Leonida (also known as Grassrivers), of a nudist city and of the prologue of history. This activity ended its race in conjunction with Rockstar’s publication of the Extended Look. GTA VI is currently scheduled for 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
