Grand Theft Auto VI: Leonida, storms and amazing details – Florida makes you feel

Rockstar Games has finally unveiled Grand Theft Auto VI with an in-depth presentation, showing right away how the studio intends to push beyond the boundaries of the open world genre. Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval are at the centre of attention, but what strikes immediately is the extreme care of environmental details and graphic realism already evident in these early scenes. The experience opens with a focus on the everyday life of the protagonists, which we find inside a house where Lucia can choose her own clothes and Jason interacts with the surrounding environment: opens the refrigerator, turns off the lights and even makes the "rules" to the other character. These seemingly secondary details reveal a level of interaction with environments much deeper than the past. Rockstar seems to want to make believeable both the great criminal activities and the small moments of daily life that separate one mission from the other, creating more interactive spaces where objects are not only scenographic elements. Also technically, the impact is remarkable: lighting, materials, animations of the characters and density of the environments return an amazing realism, especially in the quietest sequences, where you can appreciate the care in details. The atmosphere of tranquility does not last long. Exit from the house, the protagonists come across a convertible car with classic design and are immediately found in the heart of Leonida, a place that radically changes the register. In a few minutes, Rockstar puts in front of the viewer the wildest soul of the series: risse per strada, characters out of control, accidents, violence, weapons and absurd situations that seem to be spontaneously born in the game world. Lucia is involved in body-to-body clashes, Jason and Lucia are armed, pump rifles are used, sudden shooting explodes and even cars are damaged on the streets.
