Miamiota Flicca Vice City: Licensed for Video Viral Advertising GTA VI

The advertising campaign for Grand Theft Auto 6 is in full swing, and Miami is becoming increasingly invaded by posters with the theme Vice City, the setting of Rockstar's new open-world sequel. An individual involved in installing some of these ads is now without work. According to the statement, he was fired simply for sharing a preview of the words “Vice City” on some beach chairs. In the past weeks, videos and screenshots had begun to spread on social media showing chairs and umbrellas marked with the brand Vice City and GTA 6 on the beach in Miami, Florida. The bathing furniture is part of a wider marketing operation, which also includes directing and an NBA event in the whole city that inspired Vice City. However, the man who allegedly resumed the first viral video among GTA fans had problems. Graham Simmon, a TikTok user, has released a new video (via Dexerto) to explain the consequences: “A few days ago, I published a video in which I opened [these chairs] on the beach,” said Simmon on October 20. “All chairs, umbrellas, cabins. I published it; it had less than 1,000 views and I was asked to remove them. And unfortunately for me, people took those and posted them on the internet, on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and went viral. ” According to Simmon, the company he worked for “didn’t appreciate”, and he was fired. “So, in a nutshell, GTA 6 made me lose my job.” Simmon, who said he was new and was not told that he was not allowed to record and share footage of the chairs, is not too angry for the whole story. In the description of his TikTok video explaining his dismissal, he added that "it was his fault" and explained not "voler to blame the company". He simply wanted to share what he considered a “fun story”. Grand Theft Auto 6 will be available on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox.
