GTA 6: Netflix Exclusive Preview of the Extended Trailer August 27th
Rockstar Games announced a new appointment dedicated to Grand Theft Auto VI, called “An Extended Look”, which will be premiered on Netflix and later on the official channels of the series. The event rekindles the expectation for the scheduled release on November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The film, about an hour, will be available on Netflix at 15:00 ET (21:00 in Italy) Thursday, August 27, offering subscribers six hours ahead of free publication. Subsequently, the material will be released at 21:00 ET (Italian 03:00 on August 28) on YouTube and on the official website of GTA 6. The announcement of the collaboration with Netflix is unusual: the platform will have an exclusive six-hour access to the new content, before it is made available to the general public. Rockstar has not yet released specific details about the content of the "Extended Look", but it is assumed that it can focus on the exploration of the game world, on the characters Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, or on the activities available in the state of Leonida, also showing new sequences directly from the game. The date of the event – August 27 – precedes the official launch of GTA 6, confirmed for November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Mi convince poco l'idea di concentrarsi subito su Jason Duval e Lucia Caminos; il team di sviluppo ha dimostrato di voler tenere le carte coperte sulla provenienza dei personaggi principali, lasciando intendere che la storia potrebbe avere radici più profonde e complesse nel contesto del mondo di gioco. L’indicazione di sequenze direttamente dal gioco è un dettaglio importante: se l'Extended Look sarà incentrato sull'esplorazione dello Stato di Leonida, si potrà finalmente capire meglio il ruolo cruciale che avrà Cal Hampton e Raul Bautista nelle future dinamiche della trama. La menzione di Boobie Ike suggerisce un’integrazione potenziale con le aree circostanti Grassrivers e Mount Kalaga, forse una sorta di collegamento tra i diversi territori del gioco.
