Rockstar Games has embarked on an unexpected move: the extended preview of Grand Theft Auto VI will not be published directly on YouTube, but exclusively on Netflix. The event, called “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look”, will offer the public a deeper immersion in the world of the game, anticipating the release scheduled for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The preview will be available in two stages: - Thursday, August 27 at 21:00 (Italian time) exclusively for Netflix subscribers; - Friday, August 28 at 03:00 (Italian time) on YouTube and the official website of GTA VI. The title, “An Extended Look”, suggests a longer and more detailed experience than traditional trailers, fueling the hopes of fans about prolonged gameplay, insights into the setting of Leonida, game mechanics and history related to Jason Duval, Lucia Caminos and other characters. Netflix defined this initiative as an “unparalleled partnership”, aiming to transform video game content into global cultural events. The preview is a bold first step for the streaming platform in the context of gaming. Netflix subscribers will have access to this exclusive content, while others will have to wait six hours before they can see it on YouTube. The countdown began: August 27 at 21:00, the focus will be on the screen.
