The revelation was made following an interview with a member of Rockstar’s creative team, who specified that the goal was to create an unmistakable sound atmosphere for the new iteration of the franchise, similar to the work of Justice. The characteristic sound of Justice – a combination of dark synths, electronic rhythms and filtered voices – should help define the immersive experience of Vice City and the surrounding environment.
