GTA VI: the community proposes the statuette of Macca with 3D printing

Just a few hours from the presentation of the expensive GTA VI collection to see the community find a much cheaper alternative. The showy statuette included in the Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, “Macca” the Gator, has already been recreated by enthusiasts through 3D printing models. As reported by GameRant, some fans have made digital versions of the famous pink alligator practically immediately after the official presentation. A particularly curious answer considering that the Rockstar collection costs 399.99 euros and does not even include a copy of GTA VI. Macca is one of the most recognizable characters used by Rockstar to promote the universe of Leonida. In the official collection it is represented while wearing sunglasses and tropical clothing, accompanied by a base with a hidden compartment. The original statuette measures about 15 cm, but some enthusiasts have already reconstructed the character starting from promotional images. Three-dimensional models can be used with filament or resin printers and subsequently painted to approach the original appearance. Of course, a homemade creation does not necessarily offer the same quality as the official product. Materials, finishing and precision of painting depend on the printer and the capabilities of the model, but the result shows how quickly the community managed to react to Rockstar's presentation. Some reproductions even try to maintain the opening base with small hidden compartment, one of the particular features of the original statuette. È un’ottima dimostrazione di come la community GTA sia in grado di reagire con creatività e spirito pratico a iniziative commerciali considerate eccessive. Il fatto che i fan abbiano sfruttato risorse accessibili, come la stampa 3D, per replicare un elemento iconico della collezione – e persino replicare dettagli complessi come il vano segreto – dimostra una profonda conoscenza del gioco e un’attitudine proattiva molto apprezzabile. La velocità con cui questo progetto è stato realizzato, in poche ore dalla presentazione ufficiale, è degna di nota e suggerisce un alto livello di coinvolgimento e coordinazione all'interno della community. E' un bel modo per dimostrare che la passione per GTA VI trascende i limiti economici e si traduce in progetti concreti e divertenti.
