Map GTA 6: the width of the territory of Leonida and the central role of Vice City

The map of GTA 6 is a crucial element in waiting for players, with Rockstar Games which has gradually revealed details of the vast world of play that will welcome Lucia and Jason Duval. The title will be set in the fictional state of Leonida, a reprocessing of Florida, but with Vice City as an urban hub, interspersed by different geographically heterogeneous areas – tropical islands, swamps, industrial areas, wild regions. The complexity of the map lies in its joint: Rockstar has created an interconnected territory that includes cities, suburbs, countryside, coasts, wetlands and natural areas, far exceeding the scope of Vice City of 2002. Among the areas already identified are Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. Despite the lack of an official map size metric, community estimates are based on information leaked by trailers and screenshot analysis. Vice City itself represents the heart of the map, a modern reinterpretation of the original setting, although enlarged to a contemporary and wider context. Beaches, skyscrapers, residential districts, commercial areas, nightclubs and Art Deco areas are perceived, with attention to detail that suggests a lively city, not only a scenario for the main missions. But what secrets does the rest of the GTA 6 map keep? Rockstar’s challenge seems to be to offer a rich and complex gaming experience, where the exploration of the territory – far beyond the boundaries of Vice City – will represent a fundamental component of entertainment.
