Pre-orders GTA VI: The Ultimate Edition dominates with 90% of reservations

The pre-order data of Grand Theft Auto VI is surprising analysts. According to Sensor Tower estimates, almost 90% of buyers opted for the Ultimate edition, set at $99.99, while only 11% went to the Standard edition, offering at $79.99. This trend, officially confirmed by Take-Two Interactive through its CEO Strauss Zelnick, highlights a particularly strong interest in the most complete version of the game, especially considering that the Ultimate Edition includes additional content and exclusive bonuses. Zelnick attributes this success to the fact that many enthusiasts book titles in advance, often choosing the most complete editions when they have time to thoroughly evaluate the content offered. In the case of Grand Theft Auto VI, it is the largest fanbase of the video industry, a particularly prone public to invest in a long-awaited title for years. The figure is more relevant in the light of recent discussions on AAA game prices, which have seen a significant increase in recent years. GTA VI therefore seems to have been able to overcome the resistances of the market, demonstrating that a price of 100 dollars does not constitute an obstacle for the fans of the saga. The current situation suggests a strong confidence in the new Rockstar Games chapter and a high propensity to invest in the most complete edition of the game.
