GTA 6: a peak of holiday requests due to launch - SpazioGames

In this article we will analyze a curious trend emerged in the United States, following the upcoming launch of GTA VI. The holiday requests are following an unusual calendar, directly related to the game's release scheduled for November 19. According to data provided by BambooHR, a company specializing in human resource management software with over 30,000 customers, rest applications for the third Thursday of November increased between 9% and 17% compared to the average of recent years. This fits perfectly with the title launch date. The analysis, conducted by BambooHR, has revealed a constant and replicable phenomenon to every survey carried out. The company does not deny the existence of a correlation, while admitting that establishing a direct causal link between the game's release and ferie requests is complex. However, the data indicates "a real and reproducible signal", suggesting a strong market response. Considering the time needed to complete GTA 6 (about 80 hours) and the potential extension of work permits until Friday, the most plausible hypothesis is that many players are planning an entire weekend dedicated to the new title. BambooHR has not released specific data relating to November 20, but the analysis is based on the common sense and habits of workers. GTA 6 will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S on November 19th. In parallel to the game's release, it will also debut "GTA 6: The Album", a record that includes 34 original songs composed by international artists for the occasion, transforming the launch into a cultural event of ample breath.
