Walls in New York: Take-Two Svela Signals for the GTA VI Campaign

The giant mural just made in New York could mark the beginning of the final stage of the Grand Theft Auto VI promotional campaign. While Rockstar Games maintains an impenetrable silence, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick, unexpectedly presented himself in a street interview, filmed by the YouTube channel “School of Hard Knocks” (over 2 million members). The interview, also resumed by GameRoll on X, briefly hinted at the date of release fixed for November 19, 2026 and explained that Rockstar's team is aiming to "make something that has never been done before", recognizing the challenges related to the passage from GTA 5 (available on PS5 at about 25 dollars on Amazon) to the new iteration. The apparent spontaneity of the meeting aroused great interest in the community, with many users convinced that the interview was partly orchestrated to create a buzz around the game. Take-Two had already anticipated the start of the summer marketing campaign of GTA 6, and this unexpected gesture could represent its starting point. Additional promotional materials will be released in the coming months, including potentially the third trailer. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, the two protagonists of the game (as confirmed by the trailers), were not mentioned in the interview.
