GTA VI: Climate, Fauna and NPC of Leonida – Details Unveiled by Game Informer

By GTA6 Hub editorial team

They remain only seven weeks before launch, but Rockstar continues to provide reasons to focus exclusively on GTA VI. The new Game Informer reportage reveals details that until now were reserved, moving attention from the classic Vice City to everything around it. The fauna of Leonida is one of the most discussed aspects. Game Informer announces more than 170 animal species, with more than 60 types of birds and about thirty terrestrial mammals, as well as fish and reptiles. Michael Kane, vice president of Rockstar's dynamic art department, confirms the presence of manates, flamingos, pelicans and crocodiles, all linked to Florida. And it is not a mere aesthetic approach, because this variety will affect every area of the map. The climate has also received similar care. Rockstar redesigned its weather system to make each area experience distinct and persistent phenomena. The sky can pass from Miami to a storm with lightning in a few minutes, especially in summer and autumn. The wind will influence water, vegetation and objects, and of course there will also be hurricanes, represented in a spectacular way. The NPCs of GTA 6 have been further modified and notice at each angle of Leonida. Citizens will no longer be clones with different t-shirts, but there will be various heights and corporatures, with differences in muscles and weight. The skin will be characterized by freckles, sun spots and tattoos that reflect the communities of the state. Even hair and body fleece will have styles related to different cultures. New activities such as billiards, minigolfs, zoos and flights with the aircraft have been added. With every new discovery, GTA VI clarifies that its world will be much more than just a beautiful background. When a hurricane hits you in the heart of the tummy or a crocodile crosses your way, the game stops being just a story. At that time, Leonida begins to look like a real place. And this, for now, promises a lot.
