Le Perdite di GTA 6 Fanno Crollare Take-Two: 3 Billion Danni all’Editore

While Grand Theft Auto VI's leaks continue to flood social media and Rockstar Games launches its investigative teams to identify information leakers, the situation is causing serious economic repercussions on the company. Take-Two Interactive has undergone a collapse of the value of the shares that estimates to be around 3 billion dollars from 248,13 dollars (18 August 2026) to 232,84 dollars (20 August 2026). This is a much higher decline than the losses of 2022, when the value of Take-Two shares had an impact of only $510 million. The figure, destined to exceed the development costs of the game (stated between 1 and $3 billion), highlights the severity of the crisis caused by unauthorized disclosure of confidential material. The uncertainty about who is behind the leaks and the method used to access the material further increases concerns, pushing Rockstar and Take-Two to step up efforts to track the author and ensure him to justice. The situation also raises questions about the spread of malware by taking advantage of the increasing attention to the losses of GTA VI.
