Leak Cyberleek: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos on the screen, the title TTWO collapses

Since August 18, a group called Cyberleek has been spreading online videos and images stolen from a playable build of Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar's long-awaited debut. Movies show Jason Duval driving on the highway, plays basketball, fights and flies on a small plane on the map of the imaginary state of Leonida. In one of the videos, published on August 20, you see the character write the word "LEEK" against a wall with bullets. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive did not confirm the authenticity of the material, but quickly demanded the removal of violating videos copyright on social networks. These actions, however, did not stop the spread of films, suggesting their authenticity. Cyberleek has also published a manifesto against practices of the video industry that considers “anti-consumer”, asking for the elimination of digital bookings without independent reviews, the end of downloadable content for a fee and the right to offline access to purchased content. This theme is already the subject of debate between independent fans and youtuber, such as Davide Persiani (Falconero), who for years has denounced anomalies of the sector. The Cyberleek group has announced that it will continue to release material until Rockstar and Take-Two do not apologize publicly and engage in a real change. In parallel, Cyberleek launched an amateur cryptocurrency, without guaranteed value, to finance a "mysterious project" in support of the rights of video players. The community and the specialized press suspect that this is an attempt to exploit the media attention generated by the leak. The impact on the markets was significant: the title Take-Two Interactive collapsed from 248.13 dollars on August 18 to about 232,84 dollars on August 20, with a loss of capitalization estimated at 2,83 billion dollars in two days. The value stabilized at $ 240.15 at night.
