Gameplay by GTA 6 leaked: confirmed or fake? Two videos circulate online

Although the official release of GTA VI is scheduled for the second half of November and we will not see any other video material of the game until a week later on Netflix, in the last hours social networks have begun to fill in footage of leaked gameplay that should reveal the game. Many of the videos, such as those shared by Rage Games and Malik on Twitter, seem authentic, although some are probably generated by AI. Movies show Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos leading a Vapid Stanier, with fighting scenes and some driving sequences in environments reminiscent of Ocean Beach and Port Gellhorn. A group of hackers recently urged Rockstar Games to make available the pre-order version of the game even in physical format, but without success. The films, apparently dating from the end of 2023 and early 2024, may not reflect the current state of the game, so excessive attention to detail could be misleading: Rockstar Games has radically changed the game in recent years to make it more fun in every aspect. considerando la quantità di materiale trapelato e le dichiarazioni di Rockstar riguardo modifiche significative al gioco negli anni recenti, mi convince poco che i filmati siano rappresentativi dello stato finale. La presenza di Jason Duval e Lucia Caminos alla guida di un Vapid Stanier in ambienti come Ocean Beach e Port Gellhorn è coerente con le prime immagini mostrate nei trailer, ma la natura “in fase di sviluppo” dei gameplay suggerisce che si tratti di prototipi e non del prodotto definitivo. Quello che noto e' l’utilizzo della IA per generare alcuni elementi, una strategia sempre più comune per accelerare il processo di sviluppo e testare nuove idee senza dover investire eccessivamente in risorse. Il fatto che i filmati risalgano alla fine del 2023 e all'inizio del 2024 aumenta ulteriormente questo sospetto: è possibile che Rockstar abbia già apportato cambiamenti sostanziali al gioco, rendendo obsolete le informazioni contenute nei video trapelati. Non mi stupirei se l'anteprima su Netflix, il 27 agosto, concentrasse la sua attenzione proprio su questi elementi contrastanti e tentasse di dare un quadro più chiaro della direzione che il gioco ha preso.
