Dartz, a well-known Latvian manufacturer specializing in luxury armored vehicles, has in fact started the project to build a real HVY Nightshark, the giant armored SUV that players know from the first tests of Grand Theft Auto Online. The presentation of the car was set at 19 November 2026, the official release date of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the project was born from the demand of a demanding customer. GTA Nightshark, already introduced in GTA Online in the Gunrunning update in 2017 as a four-seat armoured off-road, will be reinterpreted by Dartz with the approval of his client. The road version commissioned to Dartz will not be a simple 1:1 scale replica. Leonard F. Yankelovich, led by Dartz, explained the philosophy of the operation: "The customer has not asked us to copy pixels. He asked us to build what those pixels were trying to become." The goal is to bring into the real world the idea of Nightshark, emphasizing its distinctive features and its ability to face hostile environments, more than just a mechanical reproduction of the virtual vehicle.
